Hi all! It was great to be back for our first REAL week open! We had so much fun seeing everyone and our classes and crops were so much fun!!!! Thank goodness, we got our phone and internet back last Monday!!! So the phone number is the same 281-837-5844 and fax 281-837-7244. Our email is back up as well and I'm trying to get back to everyone!

Now for the upcoming events.

Monday- Closed

Tuesday- Open 12pm-5pm. We will have a class at 1pm given by Pat. The picture just does NOT do this justice. This class is chock full of Prima, petaloo, butterflys, glimmer mist, dew drops, Webster's Pages doo dahs, ribbon and pens. Sooo much fun to do and BEAUTIFUL. The class is $20 and we only have two spots left so call ASAP if you'd like a seat.

Wednesday- Closed

Thursday- Closed

Friday- Open 4pm to midnight. We will also be having a crop that night. We only have three seats left for the crop so call ASAP.

Saturday is such a great class. It's done with our BRAND NEW Fancy Pants line, "Beach Bum". You will be doing two 2pg. layouts and will still have LOADS of product to make at least 4 more pages!!! This class/kit comes with an entire box of Fancy Pants buttons, chipboard, stickers, ribbon, and loads of paper. The class is $20 and we have very few spots left so please call ahead if you'd like to reserve your seat.

The kit for this week is a graduation kit. Please call ahead if you are interested so that we can specialize your kit with the colors of your school. The price of the kit is $7.99.

Hi all!!! We have just about gotten settled and we have had our first class in our new place! Soooo excited to be back at work. Here's some news for upcoming events.

The store will be open Friday April 29th from 2pm til midnight. We will have a MNT (Make and Take) available and a crop. Space is limited so please call ahead.

Saturday April 30th we will be open from 10-4pm. We will have our FIRST Disney class. We are starting a new class that will run all year. There will be two classes a month for 12 months. (24 Layouts) If you go to all the classes, or pick up the kits, you will receive a free Disney Scrapbook at the end. The first class will be at 1pm on Saturday and will feature a first page, and a double page layout. You will have lots of goodies left over at the end. Price for this class is $25. Please call ahead if you are interested, there are only a few spots left.

May 3rd Tuesday- Gayle will be hosting a class. More info to come at a later date.

Kits will start coming out on a regular basis now. We have available this cute Easter kit for $8. We have 5 left so please call if you are interested.

We have three spots left for our Scrapbook Weekend in Galveston May 13-14th-15. It will be at the Red Victorian Bed and Breakfast and all meals are provided. The price is $135. Please call if you are interested.

There will also be more information coming up on National Scrapbook Weekend. We will be having a crop the weekend of the 20th-21st.

The store is close to being done, BUT we are having the BIGGEST issues getting our phone and internet hooked up! (thank you Comcast) sooo in the meantime, please contact me at mpcld30@aol.com. If you need me immediately you can call 713-534-5923.

Sorry, I haven't posted in the last couple of weeks. It's been ABSOLUTELY crazy! Yesterday, we completely moved out of the store on Alexander. Man, moving 10 million small scrapbook embellishments isn't easy!! lol. And when you put alot of paper together, it gets mighty heavy!!! UGHHH.... but it's done! Now, we have started the task of unpacking everything. It's going really well, and although we will not be open this weekend, we feel that we should be up and running by next weekend. Classes will probably resume the week after and we start the kit club back up shortly thereafter. I have appreciated all the emails, calls and help we have recieved. We are so thankful for everyone's support. Makes you feel really good! I will try to update by next Thursday. (Hopefully, having a crop next Saturday.) Now, for the big news. We are moving to a new location. We have been so blessed to be here and have had such a wonderful time. Economically, we just had to make a move. We are NOT closing, and will continue to have classes, crops, and new product in. We will close down in this location by March 26th and will not open up in the new location until April 12th... which gives us a couple of weeks to get it all together. April 12th we will open up with classes and new product!!

Since the space we will inhabit is smaller than the area we are in now, we will be having a sale on most items, plus many specials. Come in and take a look. Most product will be off 30%.

Friday- We are having a TGIF crop. Come crop and shop with us from 4pm til midnight on Friday. We will have snacks and drinks and you can use our cricket, sizzix, stamps, and punches for $10.

Out with the old, in with the new! I have already started pre-ordering all the new lines from CHA at the end of the month. So to get ready for all the new product we are having a sale on the old. This week all items in the Clearance section will be 70% off. We have 5 big sale tables and a huge kiosk filled with loads of majorly clearanced items. Come in and see what's for sale!

We also have got the information now for this years HOUSTON AREA SCRAPBOOK ROUNDUP!!! You can get all the general information on thehoustonareascrapbookroundup.com. The round-up starts February 25 and runs til March 6. There are six stores participating in the Houston area. You can pre-order your shop hop passports today at the store. Your Shop hop passport will entitle you to 15% discount at all Shop Hop Stores from February 25th -March 7th. If you bring in a NEW 2011 tote bag you wiill receive an additional 5% discount. Visit all participating stores and be entered to win loads of prizes!!! All locations will provide Make N Takes free of charge while supplies last. Upcoming Events for the New Year for Scrapbook Emporium!

Hi all!!!! I hope everyone has had an amazing holiday and has a wonderful and safe New Years!!!
We have loads of news for you for the New Year at Scrapbook Emporium.

First, we would like to clear up any mis-information that has gotten out. We are NOT closing, we were never closing... we had thought about moving locations but we have decided against that. We will remain at 2316 N. Alexander and look forward to providing scrapbook products, classes and crops to you for as long as you will have us! We have had a wonderful first year and have met so many amazing people. It's been pretty tremendous... I can't imagine better people that have come through our doors. I thank the Lord everyday for the new friends, and wonderful people that have been introduced into my life!

We have given alot of thought to the new years and we are implementing some new hours starting January 3rd. We will be open weekly Wednesday thru Saturday, 10-5:30pm. We also have had a few safety issues so our doors are always locked. Normally we can see and hear you if you are at the door but if not we have a doorbell outside that you can ring. We are currently looking into getting a buzzer system but have not been able to find one yet.

We are having a sale on product for the first week of January. All product will be 30% off through the first week of January. We are so excited about the Winter CHA and are trying to make room for all the new product we are anticipating! We got this week two new lines of product from Little Yellow Bicycle plus new Disney papers!

Thursday will be our new Make and Take day! You can come in every Thursday and learn how to make a Make in Take anytime from 10-5:30pm. The picture of the Make and take along with classes will be up on our webblog usually by Sunday of the week before. This Thursday our MNT will be a Disney themed MNT. There is always a 2 pg. layout available to go with it for an additional $6.99.

Thursday at 10am will be a Scrapbook 101 class. The class will show the basics of scrapbooking including, matting, adhesives, putting papers together, and an explanation of different kinds of embellishments. The class will be $10. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.

Friday night January 7th we will be having a crop from 4pm- midnight. Come in, and hang out with us cropping and shopping the night away. You can use my punches, cricket, sizzix, stamps, and tools plus we will serve drinks and snacks for $10. Please call and reserve your seat. Also, we will be open for shopping on Friday til midnight even if you are not cropping.

Saturday- we will be having our acrlyic Texas mini-album for $25. This is a 12 pg mini-album set to Texas, red white and blue and cowboy type embellishments. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.

Hi all!!! Is everyone ready yet for Christmas?????

This week we will only be open Monday and Tuesday BUT everything in the store but kits will be 40% off, kits will be $5, and the clearance section will be 50% off. We also have a bunch of tables withe major sale items on them!!!!

The week after Christmas...

Monday we will be cropping all day long. Come in and crop for $5 all day long.

Monday-MNT. Come in and join us anytime from 10-6pm to do this Thanksgiving MNT. There is a two page layout that goes with it for an additional $6.99.

Thursday- is Scrapbook 101. The class will show you how to begin scrapbooking from the very basics. Learn about tools, adhesives, equipment, inks, stickles, matting etc... Class is at 10am and is $10.

Friday- We have lots going on this weekend. First off, we have a Christmas card class at 6:30pm. You will make 10 cards for $15. Bring your cutter, adhesive, popdots, gold stickles and brown ink pad.

Also on Friday is our Thanksgiving Crop. The crop will be from 4pm to midnight. We will have games, doorprizes, snacks drinks and loads of fun. The cost of the crop is $15. Please call and reserve your seat.

Saturday- at 10am is Gayles Pop-Up card class. The class will show you 5 different techniques on how to make these unique pop-up cards. This class was completely full but we have been able to add 3 more spots. Call ASAP for this class b/c it will fill up quickly. If you would like to see examples of some of the cards, you can look at one of the earlier posts. It is $20.

Also on Saturday is our Christmas SOS. (Six on Saturday) You will come in and make 3 2pg. layouts with a Christmas theme. This month you will learn techiniques that include distress inks, liquid applique, and glossy accents. When you finish these layouts you will have enough paper and embellishments to make 3 more 2 pg. layouts when you go home. The cost is $30 and was also previously full. We have made room for 3 more. Please call ahead.

December 3rd we will be making a customized Sterling Stars Jean pocket book. You can change this and make it cusomized for your school (Barbers Hill, BCA, Channelview, Crosby, Dayton, DeerPark, GCM, Lee, Northshore, and Sterling.) and customized with your own activity. This mini album cost $25. Please call ahead to reserve your seat and to customize your album.

December 4th- Is the Texas Country Jeans Album

December 11th is this gorgeous Christmas tree mini-album. There is mini-tiers to the Christmas tree and many techniques, including working with acrylic. This class is already beginning to fill up. Cost is $25. Please call for more information.

December 18th is the Peace album. This fun, flirty, girly album is full of flowers, bling, glimmer mist wood cut-outs and more. Cost is $25. Call for more info.

Hey all!

Monday- is Make and Take Monday. Come make this cute gingerbread man and embellishment for only $1. Come in anytime from 10-6 and make this layout for an additional $6.99

Saturday- is a mini-album taught by Kay. Class is at 10am. The class is full, but we are taking a waitlist.

Also on Saturday is a paper craft for Thanksgiving called Thanks. The class is $15, it starts at 2:30pm and only has 4 spots left. Please bring brown cat's eye, glue dots, brown pen, adhesive and your cutter. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.

As always we will be cropping on Saturday from 10-8pm. Call ahead to reserve your seat. The crop is $10 and drinks and snacks will be served.

November 12th will be a Thanksgiving Crop from 4pm-midnight. We will have a MNT, games, doorprizes and lots of snacks. Cost of the crop is $15.

November 13th is the Christmas SOS with VERY limited seating. You will make 3 2pg. layouts and learn how to use distress ink, liquid applique and various other techniques. You will also get enough paper and embellishments to take home and make 3 more 2 pg. layouts. The cost is $30. Please call and reserve your seat. The class will be at 2pm. You will need cutter, adhesive, pop dots, brown and black cats eye, icicle stickles, and black pen.

Also at 10am will be Gayle's pop up card class. You will learn 5 different techniques to make pop-up cards. This is also very limited seating. We have 2 seats left, so please call to reserve your seat. Cost is $20. Please look at older posts to see pictures of pop-up cards.

Monday is a Thanksgiving Make and Take for only $1. Come in and make this cute little Turkey. It swings out to show a hidden place to journal! Additional two page layout available for $6.99

Thursday is Cricut 101. Come in for a Cricut class that shows you all the things cricut can do starting witht the basics. Class is $10. Bring in your cricut, mat, cartridge, adhesive and a couple of pieces of different colored cardstock.

Friday is our Halloween Crop. Come in and crop with us from 4pm-midnight. We will have games and prizes, snacks and drinks, and doorprizes. Cost of the crop is $15. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.

Saturday is Gayle's paper folding class. Unfortunately it is full, but we are going to offer it again b/c it has been asked for so many times. Please call ahead so we can reserve your seat for the next class.

Kay's Christmas Album class is Nov.6th at 10am. You may call to put your name on a waiting list in case someone cancels. Supply list for the class is: Cutter, adhesive, foam dots, brown cats eye, Large red ink pad.

November 13th is Gayle's Pop Up Card class. You will learn 5 new techniques for pop up cards. The cost is $20 and we only have 2 more spots available. Please call ASAP to reserve your spot.

Also, on the same date is the Christmas SOS. We will be doing a Christmas SOS that will show you some great new techniques. Learn to use Liquid Applique, distress inks and glossy accents. Nov. 13th we have a really special card class. Learn how to make pop-up cards!!! You will be making 5 different pop-up cards in this class. Each one with a different technique. The cost is $20. This class will fill up fast so please call ahead.

Hi all! Hope you had a great week! This week we are full up with new and exciting things! We have been getting soo many new things in and this week we are expecting even bigger shipments of new goodies!

The SOS for next month is on Superhero's. If you are interested in this class it is on Oct. 30th and costs $30. This includes your three 2pg. layouts and enough to do three more 2pg. layouts. Limited space available.

Monday- MNT is a candy bag for Halloween. Come in anytime 10-6pm and make this candy bag for only $1. Add the two page layout to go with it for only $6.99.

Friday and Saturday is our Crop for the Cure!!! Come have a great time and support a great cause. Friday- 4pm til midnight. Saturday- 10am til midnight. Games, raffles, MNT's, door prizes, loads of homemade good food, including dinner and dessert Friday and lunch, dinner and dessert on Saturday. Cost is $35. We still have some openings so call us to reserve your seat.

Saturday Oct 2nd is two classes. We still have a three spots open for the Apple shaker box. Learn how to make a shaker box filled with glitter and goodies, along with a two page layout that goes with it. $15. 10am.

Blue jean pocket book is at 2pm and is filled. If you would like to take this class we will be taking reservations to do this class again on December 4th. Please let us know if you are interested in taking this class. $20.

We have more and more kits up for September. If you see one you would like and you are in the kit club, just give us a call. They are all 7.99. If you are in the kit club, you buy 5 kits, get one for $3.99, buy 5 more and get one for free. Your tally starts over each month.

Hi all! Here are upcoming events for this week and beyond.

Monday-MNT. Sock Monkey. Too cute.

Thursday-Cricut 101 at 11am. Please call ahead to reserve your spot. Need to bring cricut, cutting mat, cutter, adhesive and any cricut cartridges your interested in knowing about. If you need to reserve a cricut from the shop we do have a few you can reserve. $10.

Saturday we have a full day!! We start out with our 4th week in our 6 week run of our kids class! This starts at 10am. Then at 12pm we will have a seasonal card class, 5 different seasonal cards.(2 a piece) There will be fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New years. $15. At 2pm we will start our monthy S.O.S class. (Six on Saturday) Our theme this month is Halloween. You will leave with 3 2pg layouts done and you will have enough leftover to make 3 more 2pg layouts. The cost is $30. We only have two spots left, so call quickly. There is also a crop from 12-8pm, come crop with us, use our tools and eat snacks and drinks. $10.

Upcoming Events. Oct 2rd Learn how to make a shaker box with Kay. It's a too cute 2pg layout with an apple shaker box filled with abc's and glitter. $15. Also on Oct. 3rd there is a Jean pocket mini-album. (Country themed) Make this jean pocket album, with three chipboard inserts, real jean pocket, lots of pages and embellishments. Cost $20. We are almost full for the mini-album so please call ahead.

Oct. 1st-and 2nd is Crop for the Cure. Friday- 5 to midnight. Saturday- 10am- midnight. Come crop with us and have loads of fun. Hi all!

Monday- MNT Monday for $1. Come join us anytime from 10-6 for our MNT. We have a choice of two this week, each with the title friends. Good as long as quantities last.

Tuesday- Technique Tuesday. Come learn a new technique or how to hone in on a technique you might need work on. Every other tuesday we will be showcasing a product that is used on layouts and showing you how to use it in different ways and how to perfect the skills you already have. This Tuesday I will be showcasing stickles. Stickles is a wonderful glitter glue that gives such pizazz to all your layouts. Ever wonder why your Stickles comes out globby? What other things you can do with your stickles or even what stickles is??? Come join us from 10-6 for $2 and learn the ins and outs of this product.

Thursday is a Scrapbook 101 class. This class is for beginning scrapbookers who are wanting to learn the basics. You will need to bring a cutter, adhesive and cardstock to this class, or you can buy them at the store. The cost of this class is $10 and will be offered at 10am.

Saturday- We have our kids class. We are in the third week of our six weeks class. It is at 10am and is $10. Also we have our "Deep in the Heart of Texas" layout where you are learning how to do Iris folding. There are only 2 spots left so call us to reserve your seat.

Upcoming Event crops: Crop for the Cure will be on Oct. 1st and 2nd. The crop will be 5-midnight on Friday and then from 10am til Midnight on Saturday. You will be served Dinner friday, and lunch and dinner Saturday. We will have games, door prizes, raffles and we will be raising money for Relay for Life in April.

We also will be sponsering a team for Relay for Life in April. Relay for Life is an awesome event that raises money and awareness for cancer and the Baytown Relay for Life is the Largest in Texas!!!! We will have a booth where we will crop all night long!!! To join our team you simply come sign up and pay $10 which is your registration fee plus you get a t-shirt! Come join us for this wonderful cause and fun event!

Also, In August we kicked off the Kit club! We had a terrific month and made loads of kits!! As you know, every month we will be putting up at least one new kit a day. Here are the first two weeks worth of kits. If you are in the kit club and would like us to hold you one, please give us a call. If you aren't in the kit club, call us and we'll get you signed up and you can hold anything you see online.

We have so many upcoming events and we are so excited! I'm going to try to leak the general information here with more information to come.

We are closed Monday for Labor Day! So there will be no MNT this week.

Thursday is a cricut 101 class. It will be at 11am and will cost $10. Please bring your cricut, mat, cutter and a couple of pieces of cardstock.

Saturday Is the 2nd week of our kids class book! It will be at 10am. If you did not come to the first class, you can call and we can see if we can make up your first week. We are doing a 6 week consecutive class where you will make an entire book that is all about you!!!

There will also be a class called "Come fly with me" for Halloween. You will learn to paper piece and make a two page layout. The class will be at 1pm and will cost $15. Call ahead for this class because space is getting full.

Also the crop this week will be from 12pm-8pm. Come shop and stay to crop. Cost is $10 and includes snacks, drinks and use of all our tools. (Cricut, sizzix, stamps and punches.)

September 18th Gayle will be teaching a new technique called Iris folding. The 2pg layout is called "Deep in the heart of Texas." The cost is $20. Please call ahead to reserve seating.

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone had a great first week of school and is getting back into the swing of things!

This week we have a Monday MNT- We're getting ready for Halloween and this is "oh so cute"!!! Come in from 10-6pm for $1 and do this MNT with us. You can buy the additional 2pg layout for $6.99

Saturday is a kids class. It will be a six week class and you will finish an entire book by the time you are done. This week we will be doing a two page layout of all about me and getting to pick out your very own scrapbook. Class is limited so please call ahead. The class is $20 and includes a 12x12 scrapbook.

Our crop this week will also be on Saturday, (due to football season) and this week it will be held during the day from 12pm-8pm. The cost is $10 and includes snacks and drinks.

Starting September 1st I will be posting a new layout everyday for the kit club. If you are already in the kit club you can call in and have us hold any layouts you would like to have.

Hi all!!! Hope everyone is ready for the first week of school! We have lots of new things in and lots of new things happening starting this school season!

So much product has been pouring into the store from CHA! It's like Christmas everytime the UPS and FEDEX people pull up! Come see the new product!

Monday-August 23rd is a Fall Make and Take. Come in from 10-6pm and do this cute MNT for only $1.

Thursday- is the sweetest layout called "Little Lady" It's $10 and the class is at 10am. Please bring your cutter, adhesive, pop dots, and brown cats eye.

Friday-there will be no crop due to the Sterling/Lee game. Instead, this week the crop will be on Saturday.

Saturday- We have a new class. SOS (Six on Saturday) We will be having an SOS class once a month based on a certain theme. This month's theme is "Teens, Tweens, and more." You will come in and do Three double paged layouts, and learn some new techniques as well. The class is $30 and will go from 2-5pm. You will need to bring your adhesive, scissors, cutter, pop-dots, and black cat's eye.

We also will be having our weekly crop on Saturday this week. Come in from 5pm-midnight and crop and shop. The cost is ten dollars and includes snacks. Please call early, since school is starting we are going to a 6 person minimum for a crop.

Hi Everyone. Sorry the blog was not updated last week, I was having technical difficulties! However, I'm back on track now.

Monday- is the cutest MNT with the theme "Zoo" for only $1. Additional 2 pg layout for only $6.99.

Thursday- is a Cricut 101 class. Come join us and learn all about the cricut. You will learn everything from the basics to some beginning paper piecing. The class is $10. Please call ahead to reserve a seat.

Friday- TGIF Crop. Come join us on Friday from 5pm-midnight for croppin' and shoppin'. Snacks and drinks will be served. Price is $10 and includes use of all cricut, sixxix, punches, stamps and tools.

Saturday- is Kay's Card class. Come make 10 cards for $15. You will learn new techniques, and come away with 10 beautiful cards. Seating is limited please call in advance.

The Kit Club is in full swing and is getting ready to go online. Kit club is monthly and when you buy 5 kits you get one half off, ten kits you get one for free. All kits are $7.99. We will be putting a minimum of one kit up per day, so at the end of the month there will be at least 30 new kits.

We have much news to cover! So here goes....

Monday-MNT is Surf's Up. Come make the palm tree/surf board/and sand for $1. Come anytime from 10-6pm. The two page layout to go with it is yours for an additional $6.99. Kits are limited so first come first serve basis.

Tuesday- Pat's on a Scrapbooking cruise so there will be no kids class. =(

Hours on Tuesday will only be from 10-4pm.

Friday is TGIF crop. Come join us to shop and/or crop from 5pm-midnight. $10 includes snacks and drinks.

Saturday- Paradise class. Come make this two page layout on Saturday. The class starts at 11am and is $15. (This is one of the classes that is being offered on the cruise!

We are starting something new that has already kicked off into high gear this weekend.

Kit club. Kit club members will have kits on the kit wall available to them for $7.99 a kit. They will also be getting two EXCLUSIVE kits (to kit club members only) for only $5.99. Buy 5 kits get the 6th half off. Buy 10 kits get 1 free and so on. There is no money down to join the kit club and it runs month to month. Everyday we will add one kit to the wall, so there will be a minimum of 30 new kits every month. This is so exciting for us and we already have had a great turnout on these so check back often for more news. (The Girlie Girl layout is one of the exclusive $5.99 Member kits for August... there will be a boy option as well)

Starting in September we will be having Technique Tuesdays every other week. This will allow us to show everyone a different technique that they can try hands on! Some techniques will be crackle paint, alcohol inks, distressing, and stickles. Stay tuned for our first Technique Tuesday coming in September!

Tuesday kids class is going to be great! We've had such a wonderful turnout this summer for classes! This week we're going to offer a make-up kids class. For anyone who has missed any of the kids classes, you can come do the mini-album (where you can pick papers, embellishments, flowers, etc...) a journal and pencil holder, or a necklace. You can even do more than one. Each class is $10. Please call ahead and tell us which class you'd like to do.

Friday is the TGIF crop! Come crop with us from 5pm til midnight. $10 and snacks and drinks are included.

Saturday- Teen Angel! This class is going to be at 11am and will be $15. There has been lots of people asking for this class so please call to reserve your seat. I might have to do two seperate classes as you are learning to work with alcohol inks and crackle paint.

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation! It's hard to believe June is halfway over!!!! I'm going to pack quite a bit of information in here so hold on! lol

Monday- the MNT is a pocket folding technique. You can put journaling or a smaller picture in the pocket. The 2pg. layout that goes with it (additional $6.99) is themed Happy Birthday! Come anytime from 10-6 and do the Make and Take with us for only $1.

Tuesday- Our kids classes are going great! This week is sooo cute. It's a mini album shaped in a crown. Your child will choose between papers, bling, flowers, stickles, embelishments and ribbons and design their own book just for them!!! Cost is $15. Please call ahead as these classes sell out quickly. (Paper and embellishments can be different from what is shown in the picture.)

Thursday- Is a Cute 2pg. layout called Sweetie Pie! The cost is $10. Please call ahead.

Friday- TGIF crop. We have been having a blast with our crops and we can't wait each week for Friday nights! Come crop with us from 5pm til midnight. Crop is $10 and includes snacks and drinks.

Saturday- is a class with Phyllis. It is a one page layout showing how to make this sign technique. Add lots and lots of pictures to this awesome and unique layout!!! Cost is $10.

We have loads of new product in. We have a wonderful summer line called Surf's Up by Best

Creation. These pictures don't do the paper justice. They are each filled with glitter and are so cute I haven't been able to keep my hands off it! We also have another new summer line by Fancy Pants called Rusted Sun.

We have gotten in 2 much needed new Birthday lines! Bright and colorful paper with loads of whimsy! And finally ALL of our rodeo paper is in! I think it was totally worth the wait! Two different lines loads of embellishments, stickers and bling! We also have gotten in new prima and bazzill flowers, bling and ribbon.

Monday- Father's Day Make and Take. This Father's Day MNT is Dad's necktie. It's only $1 and you can come in anytime from 10-6pm to make it. The double page layout is also available. This cutie patootie layout is done by our new design team member Nichelle Davis.

Tuesday is our first kids class. We will have a kids class every Tuesday from 10am-12pm in June and July. Please call ahead for these classes as they fill very quickly. The first class is a complete book class. Your child will complete a heart chipboard mini album. There are 12 pages in this album and your child will be able to personalize her/his album with paper, bling, flowers, buttons, stickers, stickles, etc... of there own choosing. This is going to be a fun project and will cost $20. We only have 4 spots left so call early.

Thurday is our "Rainy Day" class. It starts at 10am and is $10.

Friday- is TGIF Crop. $10 and we provide snacks and drinks.

Saturday is "A Summer Day" layout class featuring Bo Bunny paper and flowers. It will be offered at 10am and it will be $15.

Hi all! There is an exciting week ahead for us! We will be celebrating Memorial
Day this weekend.
Monday we have the cutest Make and Take made by Pat. The Make and Take is a
watermelon surrounded by friendly cute ants. You can come by anytime from 10-6
and make this for only $1. You can also purchase the two page layout to go with
it.
Thursday- is a Backyard Adventures two page layout class. It will be given at
10am and again at 6:30pm. The class is $10.
Friday starts our Memorial Day Celebration. We will be having a Memorial Day
Crop from 5pm-midnight. Come to shop, stay to crop. We will be open til
midnight and everything in the store (except custom school albums, paper, and
embellishments) will be on sale 15% off. We will also be having hot dogs,
dessert, snacks and drinks. A cute Make and Take will also be available as
well. The cost is $15 for the crop. Please call ahead for reservations, we are
already filling up.
Saturday we are having a day of classes to celebrate Memorial Day. There is a
card class at 10am, given by Kay. 10 cards for $15. A card for every occasion.
At 2pm we are having a hiking class, given by Phyllis. It will be $15. At 4pm
we will have a Memorial Day layout given by Christi. It is $15. If you sign up
and take all three classes, you will get them all for $30. Please call ahead.
There is limited space available for these classes.
We will be closed Sunday and Monday for Memorial Day.
Starting June 8th we will be having kids classes every Tuesday during the summer

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well!

Here's the upcoming events for May 17th-May 22nd.

Monday Make N Take is $1. It is an owl that you paper piece together. You can also purchase the two page layout that goes with it on camping. Come join us from 10-6pm on Monday.

Cricut 202 will be given as one on one indivdual classes. We will be doing a Winnie the Pooh layout or you can paper piece individual pieces on the cricut. Please call to make an appointment.

Friday is TGIF crop. Join us from 5pm til midnight. It's$10 and includes snacks and drinks and use of all our tools.

Saturday is a class for all the mom's. Put pictures of your mom or pictures of yourself on this precious layout for $15. The class will be at 10am, please call to reserve your seat.

We had another great week here, and we are so excited about the 7 new lines that have come in. We are still waiting on 3 more lines that should come in this week and we have more customized school paper on the way. ALSO, I just finished another big order for bunches of new product that came out for the Spring. I can't wait!!!!

Monday- is Make and Take Monday for $1. Kay has whipped out this TOTALLY cute dog house with the little dogs that you can personalize with your own dogs name. I'm LOVIN' THIS! There is also a two page layout you can purchase for $6.99 to go with it. All day from 10-6pm.

Thursday- is Cricut 101. You will learn all the basics and beyond to your cricut. We will learn everything from getting this machine ready to use, to troubleshooting, and everything in between. You will need to bring your cricut, mat, adhesive, cutter, and a couple of pieces of cardstock. It is $10 and you will need to call ahead for a spot. 11am.

Friday- TGIF crop. $10 snacks and drinks provided.

Saturday- 2pg layout by QuickQuotes. You will work with canvas and learn how to make a flip book on your page. The cost to you is $15. There are only 5 seats left so please call ahead. You will need your cutter and adhesive. 11am.

The two pre-orders for this week are "You are Loved" and "Love". They are $7.99 for each two page layouts.

We have some new information. We will no longer be open every Sunday. We will have special crops from time to time and Sunday's the store can be opened for private parties.

The Friday crops are going wonderful and we will continue to hold them every Friday. However, we will require three minimum to hold a crop. (A couple of times we have only had one or two people) so on Fridays if you plan to come to the crop please call ahead so we can reserve you a seat and put you down. If we have less than three people we will cancel the crop.

We had a fabulous weekend this last weekend during National Scrapbook Weekend! I want to say thank you to everyone who made it possible. National Scrapbook Weekend!

We had a fabulous time this weekend for National Scrapbook Weekend Crop. We croped 24 hours, round the clock, played games, ate lots of good food, laughed, giggled, acted crazy and scrapped ALOT of pictures!

Our Contest Winner for the most Pages finished this weekend was Jennifer Hoemburg with 52 PAGES DONE!!! Jennifer get 15% off her next puchase.

Our Raffle Winner, who Got over $300 worth of product with a rolling tote was Susan Sheffield!

Our Costume contest winners for the Pajama Party were Jennifer Hoemburg and Lorri Keng. Jennifer was.... hmmm, getting ready for bed, and Lorri was the "mad scrapper". So cute!!!

We had a full house with 25 people altogether and it was a blast. I want to thank everyone for coming, it was great and it wouldn't have been without all you scrappin' gals! I especially want to thank Kay Rawlings for all your hard work. We definitely couldn't have done it without you!!!

Wow!!! So much to tell you about!

We have been crazy trying to get all the new things out for National Scrapbook Day. We now have Albums for GCM, Sterling, Lee, Barbers Hill, Crosby, Dayton, Channelview, and many more. We have new paper for all the schools. Plus, the most darling thing... mini albums. A mini album comes with customized school paper, coordinating cardstock, stickers and embellishments all in the same kit. We have 2 kinds of mini-albums, regular school, and graduation albums. We also have new embellishments, stickers and brads. These are already selling out. If you don't see your school, please come in and tell us and we would be more than happy to get customized albums, paper and stickers for your specific school or sport. We also are going to start getting in Upwards sports customized paper, etc... middle schools, and elementary. See a few sample pics below. The pictures just do not do them justice.

I also have gotten in HOARDES of bling, transparencies, 8 new paper lines, albums, and loads of kits. More and more stuff arrives each day! Like Christmas!!! lol

Sunday, April 25th we will be closed.

Thursday- is a card and craft class. Come join us to make two cards and a gift bag. $10 Classes will be at 10am and again at 6:30pm. Please call ahead. The morning class is already very full.

National Scrapbook Day is totally full gals!=( But, please feel free to shop. We are offering a coupon in the Baytown Sun for 25% off any full price item) And we have a HUGE sale selection! There will be no class Saturday due to National Scrapbook Day, but classes will resume the next Saturday.

Saturday- is a Real Wood class with Pat called "The Family Tree" Learn how to use Real Wood in lots of ways. This wood is so neat and versatile. You will learn how to make all kinds of things out of it in this layout. You will learn to use it with punches, cricut, glimmer mist, ink, and work with it in pen. The two page layout is for $20. This class is filling fast so please call and reserve your seat.

Sunday we are open from 1pm-6pm Come scrapbook with us from 1-6pm for $5.

We have opened up 2 seats for National Scrapbook Day. We were previously sold out but have found room to add one more table which means we can add two people. National Scrapbook Day is a pajama party. It is 2 days of absolute fun. Friday it starts at 5pm and ends when the last person falls!!!! We are having a costume contest, lots of games, door prizes, a make and take an ice cream sundae bar and a picture spot. Saturday is 10am- midnight and we will be serving lunch and dinner plus a chocolate fountain for dessert. We will have more games, door prizes and the raffle will be held at 10pm. (You do not have to be present to win.)

I have been surrounded by boxes this week as new product has entered the store!!! We have tons in clearance and tons more out on the shelf. Plus, this week we are supposed to be getting in tons of new school albums, paper and embellishments. Come in and see us!!

Austin, and Victoria Walker. Also coming soon is Upwards Soccer, Basketball and cheerleading paper. So much is going on and I have not updated like I should. I hope to post again tomorrow. Lots of news, so let me start at the beginning.

Friday Night Crop- March 19, 2010 5pm til midnight. Please call to reserve a seat. It's $10, we provide snacks and drinks. I also purchased 10 new cricut cartridges. One of them is exclusive and cannot be bought in stores! YEA!

Saturday March 20, 2010- 2 page Easter Layout done with Pat. It's going to be fun, and this layout is pretty amazing with lots of vintage lace, bling, flowers etc. It starts at 10am and is $12. Please call this is a class with limited seating.

New Product

Lots of product is rolling into the store. Yesterday we got in a huge shipment of Prima flowers, papers, bling, pebbles, and embellishments. Here is one line, called Watercolor.

We also got in 3 different lines of Webster's pages. The most beautiful lines, with embellisments. This is the Sweet as Cherry Pie line that I used to make a recipe book of my grandmother's recipes. It is a wonderful line for recipes or Mother's day.

Baytown Scrapbook Emporium.

Pat and I bought this store less than a month ago and we are Soooo excited to be here! There are lots of changes and I'm going to try to update the blog to let you all be in the know of what is going on! First on the big change agenda is our hours:

New Hours:

Mon: 10-6

Tue: 10-6

Wed:10-6

Thu:10-8 (0ur late night)

Fri: 10-6 with crop nights every week til midnight!

Sat: 10-6

Sun: 1-6

We have classes EVERY week.

Every Monday will be Make-n-Take Monday for only $1 Come anytime during store hours for the Make and Take of the week. There will be a matching 2 pg. layout to go with it available for purchase. I will be trying to put the Make and Take on the blog so you can get a look at it at least a couple of days before. Stay tuned for that!

Starting in April there will be a kit of the week for sale every week. These will be in limited quantity and available for preorder the week before. Stay tuned for pictures of the kit of the week!

We will be updating daily or more than daily for awhile, trying to get caught up on the web! Come by and see us! We have loads of new product and are getting new shipments in daily.

We also want to thank everyone for their support and help in these last few weeks. It really is true about how helpful and wonderful the scrapbook community is!
